Average Percentage formula
Mean percentage = Σpercentages ÷ n; pooled = Σearned ÷ Σpossible × 100
A small quiz and a large exam can have the same importance under equal weighting. Pooling points instead weights them by the available points. Neither calculation determines which grading or reporting policy is appropriate; you must choose that separately.
